Rabbi Refael Ribacoff: Don't be obsessed with the Evil Eye (עין הרע). Live your life properly, discreetly and modestly. Don't show off - as this could invoke the jealousy and Evil Eye of others. Be generous and giving of your time and money to help others.  Train yourself to always look at the good in others - especially if they have material or other wealth and knowledge. If you don't have it - it's because Hashem "feels" that you don't need it right now.
